Tyler James Pryce is this year’s winner of Nikola Tesla Medal at Curtin University

Tesla Forum of WA Inc. have launched Nikola Tesla Medal back in 2004. Mark McGowan, Premier of Western Australia (in those days the Minister in WA Government) has launched the Medal at the ceremony at Scitech in Perth.

The very first winner of Nikola Tesla Medal in Australia was Shaun Rose, the highest grade student in the Electrical Systems course at Curtin University for year 2003.

Ever since that day, Tesla Forum continued providing awards on annual basis to the best performing students from all three major universities in Perth (Curtin, UWA and Murdoch). As of last year, the Medal is also awarded at the University of Banja Luka in Republika Srpska.

Tyler James Pryce is this year’s winner of the Nikola Tesla Medal at Curtin University as the highest grade student in Electromagnetic and Electromechanical Conversion. Our congratulations to Tyler!

Unfortunately Tyler was unable to attend the Ceremony and professor Vishnu Pareek, Dean of Engineering, has  received the Medal on Tyler’s behalf.
