The Tesla Medal launch function was held at Scitech Discovery Centre followed by Tesla Coil High Voltage Show.
The electrical display was very interesting and it was especially rewarding to see many children attending and enjoying it so much. About 120 people turned up and it was particularly good to see Mark McGowan representing W.A. Premier’s Office; Mr Milivoje Glisic, Ambassador of Serbia & Montenegro; Mrs Robin McClellan, U.S. Consul General; Tony Costa, Lord Mayor of Subiaco and representatives from the universities amongst many of the VIPs who attended.
The highlight of the evening however, was the official unveiling of the Tesla Medal which is being struck ready to be awarded next March/ April to the worthy recipient students at UWA and Curtin.
