Tesla Forum has participated with other science-based organizations all over Western Australia in the National Science Week events (14-22 August 2004) including the “Brain Break”. “Brain Break” is a morning tea with a difference. Science-based organisations all over WA were celebrating science with a morning tea event on Monday 16 August 2004. Even the Premier (who is also Minister for Science) has been participating!
This week is designed to acknowledge the great work done by the Tesla Forum’s scientists and scientists from many other organizations. The aim of this celebration was to:
- celebrate the scientific basis of the Tesla Forum
- show your support for Tesla Forum’s science staff;
- align Tesla Forum with National Science Week.
Tesla Forum has organized parallel celebrations: one held at the popular BREW-HA caffe in Subiaco and other with the staff and students at at the Curtin University of Technology in Bentley WA.
